If your in the Las Vegas area from now till Jan. check out the tattoo exhibit at Springs Preserve! Its a cool Vegas gem. You can see all the art work a few local tattooers contributed to the show and other Springs Preserve radness. Cactus, plants, interactive exhibits, local animals, bike/hike trails and probably one of the best views of Vegas from the balcony in the cafe. The food is on point! If you can't tell, its one of my favorite places in the valley. This place is especially rad if you have children. Way too much to do here. -Tyson

Yup theres life outside the Vegas strip. Flash back to a much needed float down the river. You should get your float on too. Best time is in Sept.-Oct.
You get dumped right at the Hoover Dam wall and you make your way down into Az where your picked up and driven back to Boulder. So many trail heads and stops on the way down that you can anchor for. And plenty of large things to jump off of.
